Toe-tapping “one bottle at a time”

December 5th, 2013 · No Comments

Twitter has many uses and value streams. For me, the primary value is to learn about things that I should or want to know about. Most often, this is studies and articles in the energy, climate, environmental domains. Sometimes, well, this is something different.

Okay, don’t know about you, but that got my interest. The USFWS tweet sent me to this rap video about how salamanders evolved into the Smoky Mountains. This is part of a rather cool series of next generation science rap songs coordinated by eighth-grade science teacher Tom McFadden.

Okay, with a child in seventh-grade rather unenthused about his science studies, Tom McFadden certainly looks to be the sort of teacher that any (sensible) parent would want educating their children.

Exploring the songs, something that I recommend, I fell upon one closer to my (and this site’s readers) core passions and concerns.

Thus, with that, I present “One bottle at a time” (with transcript after the fold).
