Just up today is an extremely well done, informative, and rather fear-provoking website: Future Scenarios. Done by David Holmgrem, a leading thinker on Permaculture, this site “maps the cultural implications of peak oil and climate change”.
With sections on Energy Futures (with four broad scenarios), Climate & Peak Oil as Fundamental Drivers of Change, and Descent Scenarios, Holmgren gives us much to think about. And, I am going to spend some quality time getting informed and depressed …
